Mind. That event slipped by the Ego Shelf the first time around,

Mind came through Noble Fusion before Jake moved out into the
wilds of Kansas, and we were thrilled to see it recognized. You

(1/04) Catherine Petrini's book, The Petronas Towers,
has just hit the bookstores. It describes the design and construction
of the twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which are the tallest
buildings in the world. Part of Blackbirch Press's "Building World
Landmarks" series, this nonfiction book is for 5th to 7th graders.

published by KidHaven Press, explores the history, culture, and
customs of the Cherokee Indians, including a discussion of the Trail
of Tears. The book is aimed at 3rd to 5th graders..

(8/03) Rachael Mayo received a ribbon for her work in the
artshow at this year's World Science Fiction Convention in Toronto.
(7/03) Lawrence M. Schoen sold a chapbook containing two
stories of the Amazing Conroy to SRM Publisher. The chapbook is
entitled Buffalogic, Inc. and includes the previously published
"Buffalog Dogs" and a never before seen tale "Telepathic Intent."

Creature Academy: Cautionary Poems of Public Education. Lawrence
provided the poems; Rachael provided the illustrations.

She has been attending meetings for several months and sharing portions

was published in January by Lucent Books/Greenhaven Press, as part
of the "Immigrants in America" series. The nonfiction book, aimed
at the junior-high market, discusses the hardships and contributions
of Italian immigrants to the United States. It is available through
