The grandpappy of SF/F/H conventions is WorldCon. The highlight of any WorldCon is the Hugo Awards ceremony--the Golden Globes of the the industry. This event is truly global, so start making plans now. The 1999 event was in Australia!

1998 -- Baltimore, MA: we had a blast in Baltimore. The workshops were stellar and the parties well attended. 1997 -- San Antonio, TX: our first WorldCon as a group...what an amazing event. It was our coming out party and we learned a lot.
