Our favorite annual convention is the Nebula Awards. This travelling show is SF/F/H's version of the Oscars--the award winners are selected by the SFWA authors and editors. The crowd is relatively small (200-300) and almost everyone you meet is a pro in the industry. Well worth the time and effort!

The 2002 Nebula Weekend -- Kansas City, MO, April 25-28
The Nebs are back in KC, and it'll be an event to remember. Our own Allison Stein is on the committee presenting the weekend, and several members of the Midwestern Court will be helping out. This promises to be the largest group of Nobles ever gathered in one place--anyting could happen. Come join the fun!

Future -- the Nebs are going to Philly in 2003 and you can bet our Eastern Court will be helping out. We'll post more information as we have it.

2001 -- Los Angeles, CA: a few members of our Eastern Court made the trek to sunny Cali to attend the party.

2000 -- New York, NY: we were there and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We got to meet the editors in their lairs by spending some time with John Ordover, editor of Pocket Books' Star Trek publications. We've got a few pictures online if you want to take a look.
