There's Something Soothing About A Graveyard...
I enjoy visiting old cemeteries. They are peaceful. Quiet. You can hear the birds and the rustle of wind in the trees. I enjoy photographing the stones.  When I was a little girl, my great-grandmother, Mama Kate, and her husband, Grassy, would take me to the cemetery several times a year. In Camden, S.C., where I grew up, the cemetery was very old, dating back to the mid-1700s. In the "old" section, the stones are aged and the trees are draped with Spanish Moss.
